Enablement Resources
Below you'll find examples of different enablement resources I have designed in the SaaS space.
Amongst these samples you'll find a collection of meticulously crafted instructional guides that I've developed to align with customer needs and streamline information for both external clients and internal teams. These guides serve as comprehensive resources designed to facilitate understanding, enhance user experience, and ultimately contribute to the success of various projects.
In this collection of resources I crafted dynamic resources aimed at arming our sales team with the knowledge and tools needed to not just sell, but excel. You'll find impactful materials crafted not just by me but in close collaboration with organizational leadership. Together, we've provided our sales team with the knowledge and tools needed to nail every pitch.
These samples are a small selection of VILT where I take participants through the features and functionalities of Securly's products. You'll see how I was able to convey complex information into digestible, interactive sessions that empower users to unlock the full potential of Securly's offerings.
Instructional Design Experience at a School District
Below you'll find instructional design samples of my time working within a school district setting.
When I was on the Austin ISD Technology Design Team I was tasked with curating resources and designing professional learning that could support this drastic pivot educators were undertaking. This professional learning resource was designed in order to give time back to educators who were frantically searching for answers and ideas. This is a curated collection of resources educators could easily turn to that gave them tangible examples and relevant resources they could use in their own classrooms.
I have found that the educators I work with find concrete examples of what learning can look like on Canvas the most helpful. Our team designed professional learning for five high leverage instructional strategies. This is an example of two components which I co-created. I curated specific examples for participants to explore while also creating a structure that provided participants autonomy over their learning.
In my professional learning design I try to ensure that teachers have space to explore resources and process at their own desired pace. In this example designed in Canvas LMS I used a "playlist" learning structure to give teachers autonomy over their learning.
Templates are an effective way to both provide learners with support in their own instructional design work and an opportunity to model high leverage strategies. These thinking routines, adapted from Project Zero Thinking Routines, were created so teachers can easily incorporate them into their own classroom. Each page gives an overview of the strategies' rationale and tips for customization.
This template was created for a specific coaching partnership I had with an elementary teacher. This teacher wanted to make an instructional shift towards a student-directed classroom. This playlist template was created as an example of what that can look like as a personalized playlist structure.
*This artifact is still a work in progress*
The intention of this resource is to provide educators with snapshots and concrete examples of how their colleagues are using high leverage strategies with a focus on blended learning. This will be an ongoing collection of bite size exemplars that are aligned with high leverage instructional practices that teachers can easily begin implementing in their own classrooms.
